Evaluation of ABC V 2008

On 15th of May 2008, Ezenze, The Swedish and Danish Trade Councils, Innovation Norway, UK Trade & Investment and Atlas Venture organised the fifth Anglonordic Biotech Conference. This appreciated event was first held on 1st of April 2004 at the DTI’s Conference Centre in London.

In total 262 key decision makers from 195 biotechnology-, pharmaceutical- and venture capital companies attended the one-day conference.

The conference had an early kick-off with a drink reception at the Swedish Ambassador’s Residence in London the evening before the conference.

The 87 companies attending this evaluation answered that thanks to the Anglonordic Biotech Conference they have made 35 business deals and even more new partnerships with other attending companies since the conference started 2004. This year the 87 companies together would do 377 follow-ups with other attending companies.

94 procent of the attending companies were satisfied with the conference and want to attend ABC VI in 2009. 6 procent answered ”Don’t know”.
